She is certified in all methods of extensions, including keratin bonds, tape-ins, and wefts, and loves helping clients achieve fuller, longer, and more luxurious hair. Dedicated to continuous growth, Hillary stays current with advanced education and the latest industry trends. She has also developed a passion for mentoring, guiding younger stylists and training apprentices as they build their careers.

Born and raised in Canmore, Katelyn is proud to call the Bow Valley home. A Class of 2024 graduate of Canmore Collegiate High School, she was one of the first students to take part in the school’s cosmetology program, where she discovered her love for hairstyling. From there, she went on to complete her hair school training hours at NIWE and has now been part of the team at Hillary & Co. for two years.

Katelyn is deeply passionate about growing her craft and has already attended advanced education, including Redken’s Principle of Design Cutting, Goodwill Colour Formulation Training, intensive Oribe brand Product Knowledge, and Oribe cutting and styling demos. Always eager to learn, she continues to expand her skills both in the salon and through online education as well.

Outside of the salon, Katelyn enjoys the mountain lifestyle, you’ll often find her hiking, skiing, and spending time outdoors. With her fresh perspective, dedication, and drive to keep learning, Katelyn is excited to continue building her career behind the chair and creating beautiful hair for her clients.

Shae is a passionate and detail-driven stylist with a love for crafting effortlessly beautiful hair. Specializing in blondes, lived-in colors, seamless extensions, and rich, dimensional coppers, she brings eight years of experience to every client she touches.

Her journey began in Saskatoon, SK, but her heart was always set on the mountains. Now living her dream in Canmore, she blends her expertise with a laid-back, welcoming vibe that makes every appointment feel like a catch-up with an old friend. When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her chasing adventure—whether it’s paddleboarding, hiking, or sipping a well-earned glass of red while indulging in all things Housewives drama.

Natalia is a seasoned hairstylist with two decades of experience under her belt.

She has a passion for the artistry and technical skill behind a beautiful cut and loves to create looks that suit her clients features, style and lifestyle. Natalia also enjoys bridal and formal styling, helping brides feel confident and radiant for their special occasion.

Nat thrives on connecting with her clients, understanding their needs and bringing their hair dreams to life. With her warm demeanour and passion for hair, Nat is more than just your average hairstylist; she's a trusted artist dedicated to making each client look and feel their absolute best.

Michelle is a highly skilled Barber with an impressive range of technical abilities. She began her career in Waterloo Ontario before relocating to the mountains, where she has established a stellar reputation as a top-tier Barber. Whether you're looking for a skin fade, hot shave, or a simple cut and trim, Michelle is the go-to professional for all your grooming needs.

Apprentice

Sara was born and raised in Canmore and is proud to be building her career in the community she calls home. Her journey into hairstyling began after receiving a recommendation to pursue cosmetology in Grade 9, she knew she had found something special. In Grade 12, when Canmore Collegiate introduced its very first cosmetology program, Sara got an introduction to hairstyling and fell completely in love with the craft and knew hair was her calling.

She went on to enroll at Delmar College of Hair & Esthetics, graduating in June 2025. During her time there, Sara was recognized with a Student Ambassador Award, celebrating her dedication, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for the industry. Education and growth are at the heart of everything she does, and she’s always eager to learn, refine her skills, and push herself to the next level.

When she’s not in the salon, you’ll likely find Sara baking, knitting or crocheting, relaxing with her cat Mouse, or catching up on her favourite shows. She also loves rock climbing, hiking in the summer, or spending quality time with friends.

Sara’s goal is to continue growing her confidence and technical skill while perfecting her craft. She’s deeply passionate about hairstyling and is excited to deliver thoughtful, beautiful work while continuing to evolve as a stylist.

With over 20 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Jackie has honed her skills to become a master of her craft. Her commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends ensures that every client receives a personalized and contemporary look.

Passionate about creating beautiful, tailored results, Jackie is dedicated to making each client feel confident and revitalized with every visit.

Mirabelle is an enthusiastic young apprentice excited to enter the realm of hairstyling and aesthetics. As a graduate in the upcoming class of 2026, she has found her passion in hair through the Canmore Collegiate cosmetology program. With 3 years of learning and practicing under her belt, she is excited to start her professional journey with the team at Hillary & Co! With plans to attend hair school later in the year, Mirabelle is a part of the RAP program which allows her to learn and grow outside of school and gain hands-on experience. While she is only starting her hair journey, she is eager to expand her knowledge and experience in the field.

Although she wasn’t born in the valley, Mirabelle is proud to call Canmore her home of over 10 years. When she isn’t in the salon, she enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, painting, snowboarding, and spending time with friends.

Queenie, our resident corgi and salon side kick. She loves greeting guests, soaking up attention, and supervising from her favourite cozy spot. With her happy wiggles and big personality in a small body, she brings joy to everyone who walks through our doors. When she’s not charming everyone at the salon, Queenie enjoys her daily walks, adventuring to new places and lounging in the sun.
